Introducing our LITE CHAMPION II. New features include a more rounded shape toe to fit more horses. Improved side clips and sole relief. Deeper nail groove that seats nail heads tight. A thicker inner rim for easier shaping and less distortion. This shoe fits so well that you may not have to use your hammer. Although you might want to strike your hammer on your anvil or stall jack a few times just for effect.

Available now in sizes 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The LEGACY series of Thoro’bred Front Racing Plates brings together many new features that farriers demand. More nail holes, a better shape, a deeper fullering that carries right through the heels and also seats the nail heads tight. Our new LEGACY is thicker, wider and stronger than traditional racing plates. The Sole relief is improved with a better tapered design to help reduce sole pressure. The LEGACY series will begin in the QUEENS PLATE and QUEENS PLATE XT styles and now available in sizes 5 and 6 with other sizes to follow.

The new hind is called the “THORO’BRED TURBO XT.” (Patented.)  The features and functions of the TURBO XT include a low shelf in front of the XT toe that allows more gripping power without adding any more toe height.  The side grooves increase stability in turns.  The twin TURBOS located on each inside branch of the racing plate provide additional grip that can help acceleration forces generated by the racehorse.  The TURBO XT hind uses our WIDE WEB design now found in a complete new line of racing plates from THORO’BRED.

Sold in pairs and sets. Available in sizes 5 hind and 6 hind.
