Not a single one of the customers who've made purchases online has reported fraudulent use of a credit card as a result of purchases made in The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center. Here is why:

• All of your personal information is encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet.
• The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center will cover your $50 liability if it is not covered by your bank, for any fraudulent use of your credit card within 15 days after you used it to make a purchase in The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center.

This is how the guarantee works:

1. Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the Internet.
2. Most banks either cover all the charges that result from unauthorized use of your credit card or may limit your liability to just $50.
3. If your bank holds you liable, The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center will cover your liability up to $50, provided that the unauthorized use of the credit card occurs within 15 days of when that card was used to make a purchase in The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center.

Some important notes:

• This guarantee covers a maximum liability of $50.
• In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
• Proof of fraudulent use, and your liability of $50, must be provided to The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center in the form of a copy of the letter from your bank, stating their expectation of you to pay the $50 liability limit.
