: : : Can you use the equi-pak continuously without giving the hoof a break?

: : Hi eqlanding, Thanks for your inquiry. Most of the farriers and horse owners I talk to use the Equi-Pak for long periods of time. Usually for months at a time during a competitive season or during a rehab period. While the horse is not competing or after the rehab, normally the Equi-Pak is remeoved. As Equi-Pak is non-toxic it won't cause a problem but I think it's a good idea to give the sole and frog a break once in a while. What conditions are you talking about where you would want to leave it in all the time?
: : Hope this helps, any questions, please respond.
: : Thanks for your interest, Frank.

: You answered my question exactly. My horse is an event horse, so I was wondering if I could leave it in during the competitive parts of the year then I would leave it out during off season. Thank you so much, and I am putting it in today. It just arrived and I am very curious as to how it will affect her. Corrie
