Hoe much is need to do 8 hooves?

I would like to use this product in my two show horses. My question is how much do I need to buy in order to do at least 4 hooves?.... I usually only shoe the fronts and as this takes the most pounding uts where I'm most intrested in.
Also I can use this product with out a shoe... is this correct?...
