: : : I was wondering if the equi pak could be used with the
: : : flexible, acrylic (Marathon) horseshoes. Since the
: : : Marathon shoes are flexible (sort of), I am curious to
: : : know if the equi pak would be affected?
: : Hi Dee, I can't give you a firm answer to that one. We haven't had tried that shoe yet and have had no feedback on such. However, Equi-Pak stays flexible and is sticking to the sole, not the shoe, unless you're filling to ground level. I would think that it would work just fine as long as you've thoroughly scrubbed the sole and frog with denatured alcohol and dried it with a hair dryer or heat gun. Let me know if it works, please.

: So, can I assume Equi-Pak won't have any adverse
: affects on the acrylic. In other words, one won't melt
: the other or anything like that?

Hi Dee, You're correct. The Equi-Pak won't affect the
acrylic shoes at all. Once the Equi-Pak sets, it is basically
an inert material. Give it a shot, it should work just fine
and please let us know of your results, okay.

Thanks again for your interest in our products.
We appreciate any and all input. Thanks.
