Am trying to find a circular shoe which can be glued on, either plastic or rubber coated aluminium. My pony has had a fairly drastic dorsal horn resection and as a consequence there is little hoof left to attatch a shoe. However she needs the walls of her hooves to be supported to releive sole pressure. Have been using Styra foam pads but these have caused tissue necrosis so vet has removed them to allow foot to breathe. Using Iodine dressing on one foot will this affect the adhesive quality of the glue? Is it possible to get glue on shoes with a detachable plate so that the soles of the feet can still be dressed?
