Dear Mr. Kinney:

I have never used or even seen the Supracor pads and am thinking about switching to them. I have an Arabian endurance horse (gelding).

My question is this:

On the underside (versus the hoof side) of the pads, is the surface textured for traction, or is it smooth, like with leather pads.

Presently, we are using Shock Tamer Pads. The underside surface of the Shock Tamer Pads is not totally smooth, but it does not appear to offer a traction surface either. I am certain you are familiar with them. The ST's have little pop-out modules in the pad. We don't pop them out though.

Thanks,
Susie Wimberly
