: Dear Mr. Kinney,
: I`ve recently heard about NB shoes and would like to know what type of rear shoe you recommend to use with them? Also, is there any reason the Thorogrip adhesive shouldn`t be used with them? Thanks for your time.

Dear Pam,

The Thoro'Grip glue on process would work very well with the NBS shoe. The width of this shoe would allow more area to adhere to and would almost guarantee six to eight weeks of performance. For the hind shoes, I would suggest using any style that your horse has proven to be comfortable in. But since I am not a farrier, I will suggest that you e-mail Gene or Cody Ovnicek (you will find their e-mail address in about the middle of our bulletin board) for a more direct answer. Be sure to tell him what type of eventing or competition, if any, your horse excels in. Or what you would like him to do.
