Dear Mr Kinney,
I am a Nurse wishing to take up Farriery, I have contacted the English farriery boards and am trying to get an apprenticeship with a farrier but am at present not having much luck. The reason for mailing you is that in England to start the training you have to have the full set of tools and over here that amounts to @ £500. As the actual training is going to cost me £6500 for 4 years and as I am over 25 I have to pay this myself. The pay I will receive from the farrier is £3000 a year and so you may now understand why I am trying to save money as I can. Would you, if you can give me the approximate cost of importing the tools I will need just to see if I can save any money.
