  • I really enjoy your website! I have been a farrier for 11 years and am a California Polytechnic Graduate (horseshoeing). I enjoy reading the articles and helping where I can. Thank you -- thank you -- thank you for have this place for us! - Vern Christopher
  • This web site is something that has been needed for a long, long time. I go to every clinic or farrier gathering I can possibly attend and I've never been able to get as much information as I want. This site has made getting information a lot easier. I have been to meetings that have been so "clickish" I was afraid to ask a question. The folks responding to the questions on the bulletin boards seem to be sincere about helping everyone.... Thanks for the site. - Tim Sigmon
  • I want to say what a good thing you have here. I am about as dumb as you can get trying to work the internet. There are more horse related items all the time and the systems keep changing. You have made a one stop service for the farrier industry and I would just like to say thank you. - Dan Bradley
  • I would love to make all sorts of suggestions for improving your site, but, alas! I can't find anything to improve! In the couple of days since I stumbled across horseshoes.com I've learned more and gotten the answers to more of my questions than I have in a month of wandering the internet in search of those things. Congratulations on a job well done! - J. Friedman
  • This is the best Web site I have visited, both equine related, and also within my other interest areas. You guys have obviously put an enormous amount of work into this and I wanted to let you know it was appreciated. I am going to spread the word on some of the other bulletin boards for some that may have not discovered you yet. - L. Giles
  • I don't have any suggestions but I have lots of praise. When I found this page I was so excited because I had problems that no book or magazine seemed to explain. But being able to talk about it with all these kind, caring, really interested people has been wonderful! I was reading one of the news groups for equines and it was really awful the way the people put each other down and I wouldn't dare to ask a question for fear I would be eaten alive instead of getting helpful suggestions. Thank you for making a place where we can get good advice from the right people who really care. - S. Heath
  • I'm really enjoying your site -- learning a whole lot. It's amazing how little most of us owners know about horses' feet. We can give shots, do all sorts of "horse doctoring", train, compete, groom, condition -- but when it comes to feet, we are totally at the mercy of whatever farrier will come out when we need him/her, and we have so little knowledge we aren't able to judge the work very well unless the horse walks away from the job lame. We feel lucky when we find a farrier who keeps the shoes on and the horse sound, and tiptoe around the questions we might have....
One of the things I've noticed on your bb's is that there is quite a bit of agreement among most of the farriers about treatment methods -- a little different twist here or there, but with respect for one another. It's good to see all this analysis of what's happening, and after drawing conclusions, acting on them and observing the results. Field research! Fascinating reading. - D. Linkous
  • I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how great your site is, and it is great! - T. Davis
  • ... By the way, I found your site to be absolutely wonderful. I spent a couple of hours there yesterday and discovered all sorts of useful bits of information. Keep up the good work! - J. Friedman
