By using a little common sense and civility, everyone visiting this site can experience an enjoyable, educational, and even profitable time. You are requested to please stay within the following guidelines:

The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center and ANVIL Magazine do not condone harassment in any form. Postings from visitors who harass other visitors will be deleted. Any visitor who targets another visitor specifically to cause him/her distress, embarrassment, unwanted attention or other discomfort is guilty of harassment.
All anonymous postings (or postings without a valid e-mail address) will be deleted immediately. No exceptions.
You may have a disagreement with someone's point of view, and that's good, because we encourage lively discussions on the bulletin boards. But personal attacks, or attacks based on a person's race, national origin, ethnicity, religion or gender, are strictly prohibited. When you have a disagreement with someone's opinion or point of view, address the subject, don't attack the person.
Visitors are requested to refrain from posting any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind. Postings containing any of the forgoing will be deleted.
Remember when writing postings that any use of ALL CAPITAL letters is considered the cyberspace equivalent of shouting, and is rude.
Posting of chain letters and pyramid schemes of any kind is not allowed, and postings involving such schemes will be deleted. Keep in mind that certain chain letters and all pyramid schemes are considered illegal.
You may not use the bulletin boards to post unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or other forms of solicitation to other visitors, with the exception of personal items for sale on the "Classified" page.
