Gary, in my opinion the best choice for glueon is sigafoos. The thick blue rim pad allow the heels to move. I also cut away the fabric in the heels at an angle with my handy dandy Kevlar shears so the cuff does not extent all the way back onto the heels. I ate a pair of sigafoos glueons last week because they came off too soon. My fault for not making sure the feet were dry.

Phil I have often wonder if the blue pad hinders the compress phase of the heels much like someone said early in the thread about saddle breeds stack pads I think it was this thread..due to t:cool:he leather ...but have seen no ill effects with the blue rims....but also never had one in sigafoos long times...but wouls also agree sigfoos are heads above any others......on a side note ..maybe I should spring up the money for the shears because I think what ever they make the cuff of they could use it on the space shuttle to re enter the atmosphere....that's some tuff stuff

Spring for the shears. They make the job soooo much easier.

The most interesting part to me was the soft tissue being picked up on radiographs...this came up while working with a vet 2 weeks ago...last week this came up by me to another vet and they had very diff feelings....now it has come up on here ..wonderind why all the sudden this keeps poping up..maybe new info ..I don't know...one vet had the views of Dr Sam the other vet leaned to the side of not thinking it was a good way to map as felt it was hit and miss...or one could miss read structures do to the burn out phase...as I said way out of my pay grade ...so was bit disapointed when Doc Sam felt he was getting to many hard questions and advised anyone who wanted to know more could order the info or attend the clinic as he did not have the time.....after all I quess we just a bunch of po dunk farrier who could not understand what he was talking about therefore he no longer had the time...

Ray if you think the debate was repetitive and the same thing was being gone over and over ..or round and round...you where unable to follow the different points..but I will say you made nice use of a thesaurus in your post...what part of the thread grabed your fancy Ray...please tell us ur views.... also I would go back and pull the qoutes I felt where condescending but I have the Time nor desire to waste my vaulable time to waste on the likes of you...due to I not sure you would understand it..but go back and enlighten yourself...get my drift now

As not to clog the thread with idle BS because I did not figure my post should have even got a responce...was simple to say in other words ....where are we to ask the hard questionws....I think ever thing has a time and.place and if this is not the place we have all came for the wrong reasons......I was to understand this is the place to share ideas ...to state what one thinks...because I can tell you right now at the horse or with a client ain't the place to start 2nd quess the vet or his ideas...we are all like minded we all have a common goal and if ur here its to better understand ur trade...so if we can't share ideas or disagree or trade ideas...then where can we....I been to clinics I been to many quest speakers and the are there to tell you what they think...ur talked at... not talk to... and that's all I was trying to point out ...when a few wanted to be talk to and not talked at they became the bad guy...why

Dont want yall to think yall to think I have abandoned or ignored the thread here just been busy measuring bone angle and soft tissue parameters. I have a full book this week but I will try to read back through these post and answer any questions I have missed. I guess my referring everyone back to the source is paying my respects as I am only a student practicing what I have learned but I am eager to sharemy enthusiasm and experiences. I have ran into folks that just dont buy it and thats fine.
