most poeple in the west of ireland think donkey hoofs should be trim once a year, and that the local farmer is the guy to do it. the place is packet wf them, the donkey sancturys are full to the extent they have to send some to england.
here is an example of one i did yesterday that does not have any owner and dump in the feilds.and it is y i tock pics.
im not exagereting when i say 80% of donkeys i do are has long or longer than this bfore i get to them. had a seedy toe is quite commun in there hoofs

I worked on one Thursday. . . have the wrong camera with me sadly, but same thing. On the bottom was a . . . mass of wallsolefrog. The foot was nearly rounded, concavity a thing of the past, and when I started working as much as I could (jenny in question is so sore I could only do about 30 seconds at a time) I opened some up, and the frog edges were this . . . 3cm deep crack that just kept going and going. Plan to do a bit more when I go back Tuesday for more trims. . . Just trying to open things up a bit and restore some movement to the foot.

o yeah could have loads of pics like that, but dont know how to put it the owner that im taking the pic, they might be suspecius the day the welfare officer comes along.

well that very nice of you to say that. but i get calls from an association called the donkey sanctuary here in ireland and another that does horses and pet animals, and yes it does feel good,its all team work .thanks
