Pat, where the pics? So, did you end up goin with Tender Hoof or Soundhorse? I was going to get me a Soundhorse kit once, but the lacing was thinner than I expected/needed. Maybe I wussed out.

Old thread, I moved pictures to a different server. I did not use commercial sutures, but rather made my own. Instead of drilling through the hoof I glued some fabric reinforced with a stainless wire to the outside of the hoof and sutured the repair together through that, then placing some additional fabric over the sutures.

Jaye, do you have any pics of the lacing before you applied the epoxy?
What are everyone's thoughts on laying a column of Adhere or Equilox on either side of the crack and drilling/lacing thru those as opposed to the actual hoofwall.
