I personally think the turning cams on the F3 are great and make some work quite efficient. Given I do most of my work hot, I find them great to use when making a few modifications to the shoes just before nailing. Also they are great for pritcheling around the clips. I'll haev to pass without the cams unless the price is REALLY right.

Here is a picture of the anvil I own...this is off NC website. Is this a round or flat horn? Some of the ones I have seen you guys say are flat look round to me and I am confused. Derin Foor OFFLINE Very Senior Member Posts: 524 Karma: 0	Chad, that one looks flat but it's tough to tell from the picture....... see if it has a flat area on the top side of the horn a round horn has a perfectly round radius from the tip of the horn to the base of the horn...... look at it from the end at eye level and you should be able to tell Derin
