Well I know smitty had thread like this few years ago, but about half of the pics are gone now, so I thought I´ll start a new one.

So what kind of mods are everyone doing with kegshoes? rolled toes, rockers ,anything.

I`ll start with few:

First shoe was for the horse that is base-narrow, second was for a dressage horse with minor hock problems.

You guys use American shoe sizing in Finland? Thought you used the EU sizing?

Nice mod on the medial side of that hind foot.

If you ment the first pic, i´ve cut the lateral side, not medial.
I don´t know if kerchaert sizes are different in usa or eu

One from about 18 months ago. Should have filed the nails off and would probably use a bit more shoe now.

Heres a rocker toe on a horse at six weeks due to be reset.

Ever needed to "Rack" a shoe so you didn't drive the third nail hole in bad blown out wall or the lateral wall dove(curled) hard to the heel. This is how I "rack" a shoe on the hinds and not compromised length of lateral heel....

Knocked these shoes around with a hand made hammer that Mr. Jake Whitman bestoded upon me as a gift; best hammer I have used in a very long time, thanks Pard!.....

My tong hand was acting up so the fluidity was a little off....

Hey professor Hollywood, that was great nice hammer to , but one question i have what's the horses heel going to sit on when you fit that shoe up , didn't make a lot of sense to me :confused:
