Diamond, no. GE Curved Jaw clincher, YES!

I just bought St. Criox curved jaw. So far I like them. Used Diamonds for years with no problems and they are priced right. I also like Diamond's crease nail pullers.

I have tried the curved jaw GEs, the high nail mustads, the regular "saddle horse" style lopez, the "ergonomic" st croixs and found them all to be too aggressive for my taste, I get along well with the "lopez style" lopez clinchers, the ones that are "bent", but have a straight lower jaw, and I also get along with the standard style "saddle horse" diamonds. I tried the gooseneck style diamonds years ago for about a minute, but they were too foreign for me to get along with. Diamonds are priced right.

I really like the G.E. Curved Jaw Low Nail Clinchers. The Large size are too aggressive in my opinion, I do have a pair of each, but seldom use the large size. The low nail clinchers have been able to reach high enough for any application thus far, and get a nice, tight clinch.

Here is a picture taken a couple of years ago.

I agree with Trevor, I use the low-nail curve jaws 99 percent of the time. with the PLR's and the Clogs, and sidebones, i modified a pair of saddle horse clinchers, but I think that hammer-clinching would be better, If i can learn to do it correctley.

If you ever get a chance to try Rodger Freeborn clinchers they are great. good for high and low nails and easy on the hands and they last. A Superior tool.
