Redd, hopefully Pat R will jump in here.... he puts more of these on in a year than most of us probably will in a lifetime.
anyway... I personally have used Equilox to adhere these on.... I see no difference from the packaged glue that comes with the complete kits....I order the shoes without their glue now.... You CAN'T use the urethanes, (Superfast, Adhere), on the fabric cuff!!!!! (Don't ask me how I know........)
I have not had any problems with the "beads" you mentioned.... I would be sure to check the date on your glue....may be old?? Or perhaps you are mixing it too vigirously and whipping some air into it? Pat may have some ideas here.
Removing these shoes is easy... sharp utility knife around the foot right at the pad/shoe junction...it will slice right off, leaving the cuff on the foot.....then just catch a back edge of the cuff with your pulloffs and roll it right off. All works pretty slick.
I do prefer to use Adhere on the shoe to cuff junction on the series III shoes, (aluminum bottom of the cuff to the aluminum or steel shoe of your choice), but I am sure to use the Equilox on the fabric cuff to hoof wall connection.
Good luck.. the more you use these the more you will like 'em..... they can sure save the day when other methods won't work.....
