i must be getting picky:D
Not picky at all John. While I was generally happy with the finish, the feet in posting #5 would have been improved with both better nailing and finish. That horse had poor feet to begin with and I had to choose between a better job or letting the clock run out. The horse in the first post was a better job and within time limits. He also had better feet to begin with so that made the job easier.
I find that time limits, initial hoof quality and animal behavior have a significant influence on the level of quality I can deliver. I suppose that's true of just about anyone. A few thousand more and I should show some improvement.
Cheers,
Mark
