Hi John-
This time I landed right in the middle of the course. 2 of the students had some shoeing experience, 2 started from scratch, they are struggling, but I'm getting them there. The next group that I have selected have some experience shoeing, as in working for a shoer.
I am balancing forge work and shoe making whenever there is spare time, with shoeing on the Cornell Lesson and Polo horses which I have been shoeing for the last 40 years. In between, there are clinic cases to be done by me and a lot of glue on shoes put on for the treadmill exercise therapy horses. So we are busy all day long!
