My daughter is moving to LA after 4 years apprenticing with dad and will be setting up initially to do barefoot trims as the start up costs are much less than if we set her up for shoeing.

She'd like to make sure that she does not undercut prices so we are wondering if anyone knows the going range of prices for barefoot trimming in LA. Here in maine trims range from $25-40. There is one old fella who is still 15 bucks and one natural trimmer who charges $75. Everbody else is in the range above.

805farrier OFFLINE Contributing Member Posts: 57 Karma: 0	I'm just north of LA. Going price is 30-40 for a trim. There are a few that chrage less and a few that charge ALOT more . If she is going to start out just trimming I would probably go for the 35-40 dollar range!
