My Solution

Hi,

Love this forum.

I have found that the best way to get the owner to
appreciate my situation, is to begin with a new horse
by talking with the owner while walking 'round the horse
and ending up standing 10 feet behind his rump,

from where I ask:

"Would you mind just picking up one of his back feet and
holding it out for me so that I can check something out, please?"

If they can do that, I pass them a hammer
and ask them to tap on the hoof.

I, of course, do this with my cell phone in my hand.

And yes, I would call 911 before I called my next stop
to tell them I've had a cancellation and can come sooner.
I'm not totally heartless.

Re: My Solution

I was with a client once and started to call 911, but then they paid for cancleing the appointment so I didn't have to call.
