nippers

im not sure if this is where i am suppose to post this. If not mod's please re direct me. I noticed online these ibnterested pair of nippers. where they almost have a racheting grip and are known as bud nippers? I was wondering if anyone has experience with them? and how they are in the field

I had the chance to chatt a little with the maker and there are several, well I wouldn't call them problems. But I was told that if there is a stray nail in the foot it would chip the baldes. Also was told that they are not able to be sharpened. I ordered a pair of soundmount nippers from anvil and am really pleased with them, we have hard feet this time of year and they are doing great. Heck, at 54 dollars a pair, I may get me couple more pairs.
