Wall breaks more If the nails are not in the correct Place ....or behind a clip that is Knocked into place after fitting with a hammer..
But the worst loss of wall I have seen is whan the nails are too far out ,with or without clips .

True. I see it all the time. first 2 nails are in the wall and 3. and 4. almost in the sole.

And one other thing I see often is that people are really trying to make flat feet narrower by using quarter clipped shoes. that usually doesn´t end up well...

It takes about 3 hammer blows to hit the factory clips so they can be fit...
I don't care how many hammer blows it takes. Hammer drawn clips fit nicer and not to mention I have a choice of where they are placed on the shoe.

This in my humble way of thinking does not constitute good shoeing

the shoes are I think good enough shoes and hot or cold could /should have been fitted on better prepared hooves
everything is far to far forward on the hoof
