Exclamation Underslung heel in 3 month old colt.

My farrier was just out and noticed my 2 1/2 month old colt has a underslung heel on the left front his mother has been a great broodmare for me over the years, although her feet are typical TB feet, and this is the first baby out of 5 that has had any problems....what are your guys suggestions to fixing/maintaining this for a long term foot health.

I'm curious if we are on the right track with the treatment.....do you recommend a shoe, more or less turnout (he's been on 24/7 turnout), my farrier is coming back in 3 weeks to check, and retrim. He hadn't noticed it in the previous times he's trimmed him, and I will try and get some photos this afternoon or tomorrow to post.

Thanks so much and looking forward to hearing your answers!
