I just mind my own business. Besides, folks around here have guns and bringing a shovel to a gun fight just doesn't seem wise.

How many people have you smacked with your shovel?

Re: Ugly Foot

This is not a good photo because it is a picture Of a picture I took with my cell phone to post. My scanner is still under control of gremlins or something? This is the shoe before I applied it to the ugly foot.

What is wrong with horse, any X-rays, and what did the vet have to say?
Very interesting foot.

Re: Ugly Foot

I would really give Bruce more credit because he actually brought his horse back to a much better foot than he started with. I only was able to work on this horse for a few times before I moved on, only due to the fact these people didn't offer any payment and I showed them how to kinda selfhelp the horse?

Re: Ugly Foot

I thought I had seen some bad ones, I have to hand it to yall some of those pictures that were posted, I wouldn't have the slightest clues as to where to start.

Re: Ugly Foot

Thanks , found it and very interesting. We meaning the barn where I use to bord , had a horse with an injury and a hand made shoe with a heel, two shoes put together at the heel... to make a heel, horse walked on the toe. He was fine for a few years ,even went on trail rides, but the hoof wall eventually gave out and he was put down. UC Davis was taking care of him.
thanks everyone it was interesting , amazing what these horses can endure, I would have put almost all of them down because I cant deal with suffering , I am glad some lived though.
