Thanks so much guys!! Its been good so far. Lauren made me breakfast, got me a neat hunter/jumper themed button up shirt. Had one of my favorite shirts repaired, and I got some calls from long distance buddies. Plus my dog only howled at me once to get at of bed instead of the usual unrelenting until I throw a pillow at him chewbacca noises he usually wakes me with.

But Birthday greetings from fine folks like you really do make it a great day!

I hope I get a chance shake each one of your hands in person some day. The talent and experience shared by all of you here have really helped me make the best of my work!

Best wishes on your birthday Josh.

It's gotta be better than here! We've had 1/2" of ice, then 4-6" snow on top of the 4 we got yesterday.

Tree damage everywhere and folks scrambling for fuel.

Power's been out since last night.

Thank goodness for generators and wood stoves!

Cheers,

Mark

Mark,
Thank you, Its not that bad today. We got about 6"-8" of snow. We already had a foot or more on the ground though. A few weeks ago we had a major ice storm that knocked down trees everwhere and took out power to a lot of the northeast. Some places were without power for 2 weeks or more. Luckily it missed us. My girlfriends car was parked at her parents (where they lost power for a week) and was a recipient of the falling tree award

Its been icey though, yesterday I didnt make it up a clients steep driveway. In 4 wheel drive. I got nearly to the top and the truck & trailer started going backwards. Ended up jackknifed across the driveway. No real damage, but it took over an hour to get it out. 15 year old girl jumped in her dads little tractor and pulled the trailer sideways out of the ditch. All is well that ends well.

Be safe n warm!
