I have started using the forge ahead program and love it. I carry my laptop and portable printer with me but anyone out there who does this how do you carry it?I was carrying it all in a bag but I want to mount it in the truck, I can get a laptop mount but what about the printer? What do others do/. any info would be great! And I know that some people wait till they get home to enter the info, but I like having all my info with me and I print invoices in the field
Thanks,
Doug

Hi Doug,
Sounds like we do our records very much the same (print invoices on the spot, etc.)
I drive an F350 with the Supercab that has a back seat..my printer sits there on the seat..it's one of those printers where the paper enters from a horizontal position, prints and returns to a tray right over top of the paper supply........my laptop sits right next to it near the passenger side....I have never had a problem doing it this way.....I dont have them strapped down and have never had them fall off the seat although it wouldnt be too hard to secure them if I wanted to
do you use an inverter?....if so what size and how do you have it connected to the truck (direct to the battery, cigarette plug)?

Derin, I do have a inverter but dont use it, I plug the laptop in the cig lighter and the printer is a portable printer that uses a rechargable battery, very handy!
