Thank you Gary, had a good forging/cert clinic and then an anatomy/laminitis clinic with Dave Ferguson.. Great day. Finally figured out how to make my bar straight on my barshoe.. Maybe I will get the dang J in my CF soon...

Well Ben, yesterday I was like a duck.. Alan came to me while I was making/failing the barshoe and said I was the calmest person he ever saw taking a test... I told him I was like a duck... On top of the surface just floating around, gliding smoothly, underneath the water little feet going like crazy... I don't know if I could have even told you how old I was going to be if you asked yesterday...

Mostly unlevel killed my barshoe... that and the barn, I was really having a hard time making it straight and then sharp, crisp corners... stress, sun reflection in my eyes.. time limit.. all that.. also with my practical.. my brain was on my front feet before I got my hinds level and the shoes just didn't come out flat.... the toe between the clips arched and I just didn't notice it. burned in good though...
Tucumcari I will try to keep my mind on the job at hand. At least the written is out of the way.

Thank you Bob.. What is most disappointing is not being stopped, being told you didn't pass.. it is watching your work as you are working on it and tweaking nail holes, looking at a shoe that isn't CJF standards and not feeling like you have mastered this step... When I have gotten there then I will be satisfied with my performance and feel I have earned it like I feel with my CF.
