I received a call this morning saying that a fellow Farrier here in Ohio passed away yesterday. Jim Wells was the gentlemans name, I might not have the spelling right. I did not know him very well so I was hoping someone else on here might know more about him. I only had met him a dozen times at a few different barns. From my experience with him he was an outstanding guy and an amazing farrier. He always took time to explain to me what he was doing and spent time just talking and telling stories.

Why does it seem like it's always a holiday when someone dies?
My condolences to his family and friends.
My dad passed on St. Patty's day - even though I never celebrated St. Patty's day its a sad holiday now. :(

Nicci,
Take the opportunity to celebrate the life of those loved ones that have gone on to a better place.....raise your glass of Jameson or Guinness on St Patty's Day and think of the good times you shared with them

He was a friend of my husband's grandmother. I've never met him, but I've heard wonderful things about him.
Very sad.
