Well if you don't remember my last 2 posts plz go back to them to give you an idea about Markie's problem. THey are called 'My horses 2 yr injury' and 'can shoeing a horse wrong help make them sound'
We got the old farrier out (had him 2 yrs ago, before Markie's injury) and he shoed her like this.
The first 2 pics are her new shoeing the 2nd set of feet pics are her before pics (just after we switch to the farrier before the one who just did her)
the last set are after a while of the last farrier shoeing.
So what do you think of her feet with these new shoes. If you need more info just post your questions

Very nice job, this package is a great way to support and protect the foot and coffin bone. I use this method a lot, good way to get the sole, frog and bars back into the role bearing weight which will also improves circulation.

It is a nice job. The breakover point looks decent and it looks like he got some of the excess heel trimmed off too, which will also help.
For future reference, he can buy frog support pads ready made from several companies so he won't have to rivet them himself ) Patty
