I jsut paid my Visa bill for 15 days-I had spent over $1500 in feul and supplies--Ouch. When my wife wrote the check she tactfully pointed out the large pile of steel in the garage. I think I will be building alot of shoes for a while; 50 cents a foot, make my own forging tools(except for my wonderful Jim Keith slim creaser--that is a ***y crease!). I am just about topped out for my area 120new and $90 a reset, $110, and $80 a reset within 25 miles of home, so I will need to cut cost! " Did'nt we just take over an oil producing Country!( ?" You might want to check steel prices before you use up your stock. I haven't bought any lately bur one of my clients in construction says that rebar has more than doubled and another who sells flatbed trailers, says that rising steel prices have added 20-25 per cent to his trailer cost.

AHHH! Maybe the Amish guy I get the 5/16x3/4 from will have a barn full!? Maybe I'll need to add a trip fee to fray the transportation costs.
Thanks for the happy news, Jack ;) !

P.S. I have this flaw that I always blame the messanger, so lie next time!LOL

If the Amish guy has a barn full let me know. I need a reason to go to Ohio. Other than the heat.
