Has anybody seen the schedule for this one? Is it a hands on deal?

Houston is a cheap flight on Southwest. :D

Also, It is pretty cheap on Continental if Southwest is not in your area. If you are a member of the WCB, you can also get an additional % off of your flight on Continental.

Have not seen a schedule there may be one on their website but I have already sent the money in looks like it will be a good one, can't wait. My inlaws live in houston so I can drop the wife and kids off and kill two birds with a rock.

We are really excited about the super clinic. We have a bunch of really good speakers and an agenda that is pretty unique. Jim Poor has shod three horses this last week and took pictures and do***ented the whole event in great detail. Then he will critique every aspect at the clinic in Jan. All the clinicians are talking about everyday aspects of our jobs. The lectures will go from about 8:30 everyday until about 4:00 then we will have all the forges lit and have hands on until you can't go anymore. A lot of people have got envolved with helping with this project and the goal is to stick to good sound fundamentals. Dan Burke of FPD and Royden Bloom will be doing the filming so everybody gets a birds eye view. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer them.

Thanks
Craig

Damnit Roy..
Good meeting you last week. I just checked that out and it looks like something I'd be very interested in. They are even coming to Springfield MA (no one comes here!). Now does membership into the WCB give you membership into the AFA? I want to be certified, but just the mere fact that I have to join the AFA to be certified gives me pause.

No.

Don't let it stop you. Of course, there's always the Guild........

Hey Craig, would it be to forward to bring hammer and tongs.

Hey Josh, if you want your certification (any organization) you will have to be a member so bite the bullet and "get er dun" worth every penny for me.

Everybody is encouraged to bring some hand tools. Some are going to bring their own frorges and anvils. We are even going to try and have some horses available for some impromptu shoeing demos. It won't be a success unless everybodys hands get dirty.

Hi Craig!

Is the discount on Continental just for this clinic or a regular member benefit?

If Jim shod those horses last week I guess they'll have some growth by mid January. Is that the thing? We're looking at what happened to the job over 9-10 weeks?

What other topics are on the schedule?

Hey Josh, let me know if you're going. I think we have a few from the northeast interested. We'll try to figure out how to split up hotel rooms and a rental car to save a few $.

Roy,
The deal with continental is just for this event but Jill is going to try and work a deal with the airlines with all of our events.

The deal with Jim shoeing thoses horses this week was to bring them in on the clinic and show what he did then and see what happened good or bad in the shoeing cycle. Sort of saying, "this is what we saw happen not what I think will happen!" At lots of clinics the clinician shoes a horse and we are not there for the resetting. At this venue we will be there for the resetting, and get to analyze as a group what actually did happen.
All fourteen clinicians are bringing some innovative concepts to the clinic though and I think it will be very competitive amongst the clinicians to bring everything they have.

Hey Craig, long time no see!! I was wondering if you could let me know where I could find a schedule, I have a friend of mine who would like to learn more about what i do to better understand my lifestyle, but I don't know if its possible to get him/her into the convention.

Thanks a lot.

Ashley,
