The best prices don't always come on the best tools. :D
Anyways, I like centaurforge.com -- they have a good selection.

Just go to the Marketplace right here on this site. There you can look for whatever you need and comparison shop at the same time.
America! What a country!

Don't forget to factor in shipping!!! Most places have similar prices- nails cheaper here, shoes cheaper there. Know where to go to get certain things, and generally the closer the better.

Meader's Supply in Rochester, NH has competative prices. They also offer free shipping on many farrier accounts. Plus their customer service is always a pleasure to deal with.

I agree...you just can't beat Meader's around here.(Northern New England).. their customer service makes up the few pennies some mail order giants may save you. They have done nothing but treat me beyond right..... Dave

Centaur Forge and Farriers Depot both have great online ordering programs! Superb Selections and wonderful personnel to deal with! Their websites are easy to navigate with photos of the supplies they offer. Centaur Forge offers a volume payback program. They've been very helpful during phone conversations too!
Farriers Depot sponsors several clinics a year right AT their store. These clinics often are displays of cutting edge products for our farrier industry from here in the states AND abroad! The proprietors of Farriers Depot are from the UK as well as Paul is a working farrier, so his experiences tend to be from BOTH sides of "the big pond". His wide selection of supplies offered for sale represent much more than what he prefers to choose to carry on his truck!
Regards.

I hate to point out the elephant in the room, but the largest online selection is available in the Marketplace.

I highly recommend a new supply house located in the heart of the country owned by a seasoned and well respected farrier, Dale Jackson.
They're growing, knowledgable and eager to help you get what you need.
I think Dale will be a great supply house one day.

Before I moved back to Indiana, and for several years afterward, I used Ken Davis & Sons a lot. They always treated me fairly and are prompt on shipping.
Located in Central Ohio.

I buy my shoes and pads from Ray Steel.
www.bestbuyhorseshoes.com
He has his own brand of shoes . . . similar to some of the St. Croix shoes like the Eventer, Lite, Extra, and Euro . . . but higher quality manufacturing. Now if I could only get him to make sizes larget than 2 . . . how about it Ray?
If you're buying in bulk, he'll make you a deal on nails, rasps, and knives. Usually I call him on the phone and place my order with a credit card. I can also use eMail for orders. He keeps my credit card on file, so I don't have to send the account number over the Internet. Simple, efficient, the best service I've had in this trade.

PS, Ray, you owe me another beer :D
