Anyone planning on going to the 52nd AAEP convention in San Antonio?
I believe the dates are Decemeber 2-6th. Looks like they are planning a huge hoof related program not only for Vets, but designed to draw Farriers as well.
I am giving serious consideration to going. Anyone else?

Yes, I'm going. I'm in the process of finding someone to go with. If I can't find anyone than I'll just go by myself. It looks very interesting. Maybe I'll see you there?

I might be able to swing it if I plan it now?

Is there an itinerary posted somewhere outlining topics and speakers?

I'm going. I hope we can get together someplace besides the lecture hall.

Gentlemen I'm not going, but I do recall an Irish pub on the Riverwalk. Not sure if they serve the Jameson's or not. Might be a place to meet up, besides the lecture hall. ;)

Has anyone been to the AEEP in the past? The program looks great, although I have heard that farriers are not allowed full access to events (some round table discussions, some classroom lectures) even when paying the full rate.

Pat,
Really? Darn, because the tarsus series lectures look to be most interesting. Should we ask Fran if she knows about our access?

Looks pricey for us poor unwashed non-AFAer's, for only three days?

In San Antonio you can get more "messcan" food than you can eat for $10-20. And for a small fee I can arrange a designated driver and a van (my apprentice doesn't drink).

I have been assured that farriers have full access to everything at AEEP. It looks like a great program.

My wife and I are discussing our budget for education right now. Given the changes at the AFA I may change my plans for this year.
