Anyone have a method to add a winter traction stud to the rubber belting on the bottom of the stewart clog?

Hmmm...Never thought about that before since the clogs are a fairly new thing. You might try driving a few borium tipped nails in around the edges or in the four corners of the bottom piece (if you are using wood clogs) .If you are using plastic clogs I would't try that until someone at EDSS tests it out to see if driving the nails in would crack the plastic. I will ask them to do that on some of the protoytype clogs and see if it can be done.
BTW Dr Mike Steward is giving a talk about using the clogs in Cincinnati in Jan. at the Farrier Conference.

try predrilling where you want nailhole may prevent cracking or could cause shearing in clog just an idea
