Oh you poor fella! And here I was gettin ready to ask if that Cyclone was an aggravation to your businees! Guess not, eh?

So are you eatin mutton stew tonight?

Stooopid sheep! If you were a bit closer, I'd be able to help you out. Alas, all I can do is laugh at, I mean WITH you!

I feel ya.

I have been having truck troubles and I get them sorted out, by buying a new one, I go back to work and a WB snatches on me and pulled a muscle in my back.

So I have been running less than half a schedule for about three weeks spend $2800 on repairs and then buy a new truck. Then I work one day and pull a muscle on a **** blood.

I am going to try to get back to work tomorrow.

Danged old sheep are dangerous!! did you break a club on him?

Red,

I'm a happy new owner of 5 stitches on my left pinky finger... Dam those nails are sharp!!!

Thats what I get for going out shoe'n when I've only had 3 hrs sleep in the past two days....

Been trying to keep my wife's horse alive for the past 8 days from a bad case of colic, and now we are dealing with a gastroosplenic ligament restriction of the small intestine.... Its not look'n good...

Red,

Mate maybe you should sign up for a judo class after you heal. There's a lot of martial arts what applies to shoein' horses . . . startin' with the "horse stance" :)

Knowing how much you enjoy doing the Hokey Pokey, it must be extremely difficult for you to have to sit on the sidelines drinking Fosters while everyone else is dancing to that merry jig. :D

Just so that you and Doug and Bloomer shouldn't feel lonely, I managed to join your august group yesterday. While it is an acclaimed fact that my visage is perfect, and that there is no way to improve on perfection, that fact must not have filtered down to one of the horses I worked on yesterday afternoon. That stalward individual attempted to improve on perfection by smashing his right hock into the right side of my face just below the cheek bone. Currently, I look like I have a full pouch of Beechnut stuffed into the right side of my mouth. Ron K. was with me when it happened and managed to take a few pictures of the improvements made. If they turn out clearly, he said he will post them so everyone can decide if the changes made are indeed an improvement to perfection. :D

Anyway, I'm now enjoying a few days off. Perhaps this is God's way of getting my attention so that I quit stuffing food into my face and to start losing weight and to get into better shape  Unfortunately, I have a relatively short attention span

Stay well and heal fast!

Rick

I'm here to say that the big guy can take a hit. This horse fired straigh back without the normal forward jerk. The big guy stood up and walked over to the wall. In route he was heard uttering, "This horse just kicked me in the face." He proceeded to turn his back to the wall and sink down until he was safely seated on the floor. He told me later he didn't remember speeking. From the look in his eyes I'd suggest he didn't remember much else either. But I have figured out that I'd hate to have to fight him because he does not go down when hit.

Any way I'm glad he is OK and here are the pictures that I took.
