I know that the product is best used between 65 and 85 but if the material is left inside an enclosed trailer and on a hot day it may exceed 110 degrees or if it was to be subjected to temps below freezing, would the material still work once brought back to the operating temp range or would it destroy it?
Thanks

Hi Chris,
I wouldn't make a habit of storing the materials at excessively high temperatures for an extended periods. That being said, Vettec materials will work fine once they have been returned to 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, 18 to 29 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, the cartridges have a one year shelf life from the date of manufacture regardless of whether they have been opened or not. Just keep them capped.
Thank you for your question.
All the best,
Cal Chilton (Vettec)

Keep them in a cooler to insulate them against wide temp changes.

Here in Maine I keep mine in an insulated bag, ( beat up a pizza delivery guy and take his), behind the seat of my truck, (not in the shoeing body), so they stay cooler in our 3 days of summer and warmer in the winter. When I get to a stop where I know I will use one of them, I throw the tube up on the dash where the defroster was running and that seems to get it warm enough to work really well in cold weather. (Be sure to warm the tips as well).
