Congratulations John and the crew. Sounds like it was a lot of fun for all.
Being a SNEFA member I sure wish we lived closer. I also would take advantage of your generosity and your shop.

I read an older AFA journal and there was a short clip about your dad and how you have followed in his footsteps.

I also trim and shoe for an old customer of yours. Her married name is now Peg Helprin.(had different last name when you knew her) Used to do dresage. She speaks very highly of you and how you cared for her horses.
She now has a belgian mare and a warmblood and lives in northern Vermont.

Bruce,

Long time no see. Hope you are fine - hear lots of great things about your fledgling association in Vermont. You might send us your news for the newsletter till your's is up and running also we will post your events in the calendar. You have our vote for your association as a chapter at AFA, just need your paperwork in order and should be just a formality.

Glad to hear your contest was such a success - I just knew it would be. Went to Danny Ward's this past weekend and it also was well attended as was the NC contest - maybe the biggest they've ever had. Good things are happening all over. Good luck and maybe see you sometime.

Sincerely,

Phantom aka John Blombach, CJF

Hi John;
Paperwork was sent to Lexington to be taken out to the convention where I understand it will be voted on.
I would have liked to attend this yr. but being a new association funding for such things are going to have to wait till next yr.

I just took possesion of about 50 old AFA journals and I found booklets from your association back in 92-93-94/5 and the 12th annual farrier conference and competition sponsored by snefa sat./sunday sept. 26/27 1992

You folks had great idea's to make clinics/ competitions fun. We are scouring the booklets for ideas.

The association is coming along really fine. I am pleased to acknowledge the support we have recieved from SNEFA and Farriers around New England . Can't neglect to mention the farriers suppliers, Meaders, Horseshoe's plus, Northeast Farrier Supply and Vermont Farrier Supply and the sponsors in the Farrier industry.

Myself and another farrier are going to Cornell on the 12th for the 22nd conference. Maybe I will see your there ?

best to you all
Bruce
