I fitted a pair of Imprint Plus soes to a quarterhorse with problem feet the other day.Horrible little feet,4x0 size, lacking in heel a very, very thin walls and too much toe going foward.I thought the Imprint would be ideal,i chopped the toe right back and generally rasped the feet back into a proper shape as for once i didnt to worry about nailing on.I fitted the shoes with no sole pressure and i though it would fine, hopefully a couple of pairs of these and the feet may be in better shape to get regular shoes on,but the owner called today and said it was very sore,im stuck now as for what to do next as there is no way you could nail a shoe on now.i wonder if packing the foot may help, any ideas, sorry ,but i have not got any photos.

If its a case of Just too much taken off ...I would Go for the Dallmer Cuff with the sole they sell ,they have an indentation for pressure free area ...and IM ,they are much softer altogether than the Imprint.
Not saying that imprint are bad ,but very solid

I'd definitely go with some impression material. Setting shoes back with very thin wall and dressing the hell out of the toe to make it look good is not the way to go. :) You need to get something under that bone (preferably soft now) and hope for the best. Just remember next time, you need something to hold the bone up or they go sore!

see first if you can see any pressure problems (hoof testers)if you can get to the hoof....
Equipac is sort of hard aswell ...maybe just hang in a bit????after a good look at the sole around the rim and heart bar area of the shoe..Im is not going to remove pressure if its coming from the shoe ....

When i fitted the shoes there was good clearance from the sole and only a small amount of frog pressure,i will go and have a look and get the testers out.:)
