Happy Birthday Danvers!

You and my wife share the same birthday and I'll admit Geminis are interesting folks because I've lived with one for more'n 40 years.

Of course, that brings to mind the truth contained in the old Chinese blessing/curse, "May you live in interesting times." :)

And last but not least,,,,, may you finally buy some other color suspenders than red !!!!! :D

Thanks all!! I had a great day... April made me brownies for breakfast (notice my conspicuous absence from the weight and weigh-in thread!). Then I shod two dressagedrafts, trimmed a few youngsters, and went to a baseball game with my daughter. We watched my son's team win their Sectional.

My daughter said that he wanted to hit a homerun for my birthday, and he tried hard... went up in the 1st inning with runners on 1st and 2nd and took one right over the 381 sign in CF... a split second after the umpire screamed "balk." So he went back to the box and ended up with a walk.

Later, he went up with the bases juiced and hit one off the 365 sign in RF, about two inches below the fence top... a nice 3 rbi double. It wasn't a great ball game (they won 14-0), but my kid had a great night. After the game, both kids let me fill up their gas tanks after I bought them a steak dinner. Life is good :D

ROTFLMFAOFALT! I hadn't listened to my voicemail before I posted previously. Having listened to it since (and having saved it for posterity), I can honestly say that you have all the vocal talent and finesse of a dying calf in a hail storm. But it's the thought that counts, and I appreciate your kind thoughts. U'da'man!

Happy Birthday Danvers!! Sounds like you had a good one. I too share a fondness for Jeff Holders random phone calls. Thats what I get for leaving my number on the forum once. :)
