I hope they appreciate your "torturing" as much as we do ( I mean that).

I do wish you would be a bit less enigmatic with your appraisals. Saying something needs improvement without being specific as to where is sometimes is not as helpful as I am sure you intend it to be.

No disrespect intended - you add a great deal to this forum, and I for one greatly appreciate it.

Regards

Are you saying that I shouldn't polish and finish my work and give it that little extra touch because I may come across as a show-off ? Me thinks we should try and put every detail in everything we do regardless of what others think about it.

Yes, that is one neat trim. I somehow envy it. I very rarely have a chance to do such a clean trim around here, the horse must have very strong frogs and soles to be able to clean it that much. Too many rocks around, if you remove callus it will most likely be ouchy if not dead lame.

I am also talking about you, Smitty, if I may. I apologise if I may not. I do not mean anything ill with my sayings. I only mean to beg you for more, when you have the time and mood for it. Please, do not hold back from us because someone may say this or that.

You already offer so much. If you can and want to, if you think it will be useful, please share more. There are many people who have no other means to improve but such guidance and inspiration.

You're already doing a great job in here. And we are all grateful. But if you can put a better finish on it, please do.

After all, from most if not all of us here, you're the most about detail, aren't you ? Please, bring that approach in your writings too. We're in bad need of it.

Dressage horse from the other day. Yellowed area appears to be compressed hoof from a long toe. It had a different consistency then the rest of the hoof, much tougher. My finish file was just sliding off that area, could not get a grip.

Beautiful work as always John. It speaks well of your app and his mentor.

Two questions.

Did your app start the clip source with a ball pein hammer?

What does "schooly" mean?

Cheers,
Mark

Just curious was the rasp used on this one on it's way to being replaced? Don't usually see rasp marks on your work, even by the apps.

Or was that done to make you appear more human. :silly:
