I have one right now that has been nerved. She has feeling in her toe, but not her heels. Best thing I ever did. She is such a great horse! A lot of the horror stories that I had heard about nerved horses were not true.

I haven't had much luck with egg bar shoes or cortison shots for my horse. Has anyone had any luck with nerving a horse with navicular disease?

: True must be carefull with a nerved horse riding. If you plan to keep him for ever nerve him and trail ride him. I had a qt horse nerved him rode him for 8 yrs I was very aware of where he was riding at all times. But would never nerve one and sell it.
