My 9 yr.old mare has been diagnosed as navicular. She has gotten special shoeing and is on Multiflex and a daily wormer. I know that navicular is incurable but I wondered if there were supplements out there that could retard the further deterioration of her navicular bone. I have heard of such supplements as galium nitrate, devil's claw, and farrier's formula and that they might help the problem. I'm afraid to mix too many supplements that it will be dangerous for her. Do you have any suggestions?
