: I haven't had much luck with egg bar shoes or cortison shots for my horse. Has anyone had any luck with nerving a horse with navicular disease?

-------------

A danger to ride for the most part after nerving. Horse can't feel where it hoof is landing.

Also have a lawsuit comming up in Sept., where a person sold a nerved horse.

It triped with the new owner, who was "NOT WEARING A HELMENT" some brain damage. Sueing, the former owners, and farrier for not advising her a horse like this is a danger to ride. Sueing the Vet, because he didnot impress on her the real danger.

Dumb _ _ _ iron hanger told her it would be no problem, he could fix it with shoes, as had her friends told her the same thing, that this guy is great and don't charge much.

Vet had advised her not to buy crippled horse. Think he is being sued because he has the most insurance.

Dumb _ _ _ iron hanger is starting to think where his next meal is going to come from. Seem's like they are asking for a prejudgement attachemnt of his retirement funds (from his day job), savings accounts, truck, car, and his wifes personal property as well. You see he had no insurance to cover himself or protect his family.

The depo's make for good reading in the evening.

By the way; Who's at fault, the owner for not following sound advice and then not wearing a helmet? The farrier for poor advice? Or the vet for having insurance to protect himself and his business?

Just my thinking.
