My farrier just told me of a new product for treating WLD. According to him this Mersol which I understand to be a combination of Methiolate and Mercury will cure WDL. Supposedly the mercury allows it to penetrate farther up into the white line eradicating the disease.
Has anyone heard of this or have any experience with it. I am leary of the mercury aspect. (isn't mercury poisonous?)
