: Hello everyone. I have rescued a dwarf mini 6 month old. Her back legs are awful. My vet wants to talk to a vet who specializes in miniatures and leg and hoof problems in miniatures. We had rescued one two years ago and hoof extentions worked on her but this one only weighs 59 pounds and does not have the weight to make the extentions work. Her back feet cross over each other, she is walking on leg not hoof.We have extentions on her and soft casts which at least her feet are not crossing over each other. Lexington's reccomendation is to find a vet expecially dealing in miniature to consult with my vet. Thanks for any advice you can send my way.

I work on quite a few minis and can consult with you and your vet. This little one will take some work. I can be reached through the consulting area of this site.
