In Texas I know a vet that is doing this with a farrier, Ron. Apparently this is a new thing in horse shoeing and they've had some amazing results and caught founder cases in the earliest stages. If you're interested e-mail me and I'll give you Ron's number. He has done a lot of teaching and traveling. He could help you start searching for a similar partnership in your area and what to look for.
