I agree with everything you said. As I have stated Farriers are far and few between out here. They do not wnat to get invovled or take the time to come and show you. I do not have the time to spend riding around with them. I would love to be able to do that.Basically my horses feet are decent shape. I use the file more than the nippers for the precise reason you said I do not want to take too much off. Thank you for your reply.
