Feet don't match

I have a five year old mare who's front feet have definite different angles. She has alot of TB in her and has really low heels except one foot that I think might have had a touch of a contracted tendon when young - it is a little steeper and actually looks pretty good. I had her worked on by a chiro/massage person that told me I should put a wedge pad on the not so steep foot to get the two feet to match, and that her hips were uneven because of the differing angles. I have always held to the theory to shoe them to the foot and not worry about the angles matching. Any advice/comments? She hasn't ever had any lameness problems, and she works good but then I have never really used her all that much either.
